What is "the relay"? There are several relays in the power distrobution box, but none of them have anything to do with the instrument cluster.

So anyway, you might try Fuse #11, the one labeled "Instrument Cluster" in the owners manual . That fuse is also for the electronic 4x4, so see if that is dead too.

Any other things not working?

hey man thanks alot I soldered an LED into where the light switch is and the two wires were touching so I think that fried the Fuse. Also where the light switch is, ( where you turn on the lights) the LED that I soldered into that switch comes on when I turn the truck on and don't have the lights on...? is that suppose to happen?

thanks

Care to guess what else is on Fuse #11? I was going to mention the light switch as well but figured "what could he possibly have done to that...".

Yes it is normal for that to be illuminated. The general idea there is, if its dark, you can find the light switch.

In both my trucks when my alternator died it 'caused the gauges to stop working temporarily... I assume yours stopped working all together though?
