Default 3.0 k&n air intake?

was wondering if it is worth it to buy the k&n full air intake kit for the truck if i would notice the horsepower difference? or is the k&n dropin filter just as good?

thanks

Unless your gonna be adding a tuner down the road stick with the drop in one.

^Agreed, unless you want the low whistle of the cold air it's not really worth it.

hey just for clarity what do you mean by the "drop in filter". not too knowledgeable in EFI or cold air lingo yet.

K&N makes a reusable oiled filter. I'ts sole benefit is reusability rather than buying new ones. As others have said, an actual intake is pointless. Your truck already has a "cold air intake" from the factory.

Just like every one else has said. Unless you are planning to tune your engine or anything..just get a drop in filter....
