Default cold air intake

does anyone know the cold air intake that gives the MOST hp, meaning more then all the rest, thanks!

None of them. They all add nothing to a stock engine. Your stock intake is designed handle the required airflow.

No gain on a stock engine. The only benefit is that they are reusable. However given that a normal one costs $4 with no risk of gumming up your intake, I don't see it is a benefit.

All that stuff you heard is marketing bullshit.

it will give you hp gains if you get a custom tune for your truck, but then you looking at probly about 4-600

nothing will be noticeable enought to justify spending the money on it. I use a K&N drop in for the simple fact that I can clean it and do not have to buy a new paper filter every time. Does it add HP? Maybe. Do i notice a power increase/HP? No. If I did its all in my head lol. Dont waste your money

Yup. And that maybe if anything minimal gain MPG will NEVER actually off-set what the programmer cost. So for the purpose of MPG gains, it is self-defeating.

The only way to add MPG is to alter your driving style and keep the truck properly tuned up. There is nothing you bolt-on or pour-in that will magically increase your MPG. It doesn't work like that.

thanks, i just turned 18 and all i really do is put money into my truck bc i have nothing else better to do, but now i know not to get that, guess i will focus on lift, tires, and exhaust
