Need Help doing Spark Plug swap!!!
I was going to change the plugs and wires out on my buddy's 2000 ranger (3.0L V6) yesterday until I hit a snag. It seems there's some kind of spacer or something between the exhaust manifold and the head, there's a hole for the plug to go in but it appears that the manufacturer only made it big enough for the plug wire to fit, so you can't get a socket on it. I've never worked on a Ranger before and have never had a problem changing plugs on anything before. So do I have to take the manifolds off or what? Hopefully not because that's a lot of work to do a tune-up.
