Default what a POS!!!!

I've been working on seperating the fuel lines for probably a total of 3 hours now. I have the special tool both plastic type and metal type. seems like the tool is pushing in correctly but I've pulled, pushed, and cussed but it still won't budge. somebody told me to tap the connection with a wrench and that didn't help either. at first I was glad to see the "quick disconnect" fittings but this has turned into a nightmare. any suggestions? This engine swap is fighting me every step of the way..

just spent another hour on this POS and these fittings are not coming apart. Some kind of sick joke from Ford!!! I USED TO BE A BIG FORD MAN!!!!! USED TO BE!!!!! I have a tool exactly like in the video and my hands are raw from all the sharp edges on it. I'm about 2 seconds from cutting the lines and I'll worry about replacing them later.

GOT IT!!!! after standing on my head and getting down into the engine compartment where I could look close at the connection I could see that the spring inside was clear of the flange. I gave a large tug on the feed side of the fuel line and it came apart. My problem was.. I was thinking I wasn't getting the tool in far enough so I was concentrating on pushing the tool in and not so much on pulling the connection apart. It still took a good tug to pull the connection apart even after I saw the spring was clear of the flange. The other fuel line was pretty easy after I saw what was happening.
