Default 99 ranger 4wd 3.0 heads replace job

Do I need to remove (& adjust with a special tool) the camshaft position sensor?
Any tips on removing the left front bolt (of the three) on the power steering/air conditioning bracket?
Also tips on removing the corroded exhaust bolts & studs?

I didn't touch the camshaft sensor on mine.

I don't have A/C on mine, but removing that bracket is a bit of a pain. A couple of the bolts are really hidden. Had to use a universal with the right extensions to make it work.

Start soaking the exhaust bolts with WD40 or your preferred penetrant. Tap them each with a hammer/screwdriver a few times if possible. You may have to hammer on slightly smaller sockets if the bolt heads are rusted badly.

I had to grind a couple of bolt heads off when I did mine. Difficult to fit a grinder in there, but was able to get the job done.
