Default Ranger Won't Start

I have a 94 Ford Ranger 3.0 liter 2wd manual Super Cab.
I haven't been able to start it for five weeks. The day my Ranger was running it seemed to be losing power. My gas showed me on empty so I stopped for gas, put in about 5 gallons, drove off, and then my Ranger stalled. I thought it was bad gas, but since emptying half the gas from the tank I don't think that's the problem. The pump is pumping with plenty of pressure, and I've changed the fuel filter.

So going back to my Ranger losing power prior to the gas, and thinking it's electrical. I've changed the spark plugs, spark plug cables, distributor cap, rotor button, and coil. I'm trying to find the ignition module, and now bbowler said he had a similiar problem that turned out to be the ground from the computer.

Now I'm trying to find both my ignition module and computer w/ground.

Hmm,
Well I was gonna leave this to the guys who question my advice, but seems no one is around to take a stab so I'll give it a shot.

Start with the basics, Is spark hitting the plugs? You say there is fuel, have you pressure tested the rail? These are the first things. You have not made mention to how the engine is acting, does it attempt to start? turn over smoothly, turn over quickly?, any droaning?, does it cycle(slow to fast, slow to fast)?. You'll be able to tell if it is the ignition module by checking each plug wire for spark. Have you checked the ever so elusive inertia switch? Post on these and I'll help from there. If it is in fact bad gas or just crappy tank conditions(lot of water) then some heet and time will correct it, but typically the vehicle will atleast attempt to start if doesn't fully start.

I check the spark, that didn't seem to be the problem until I tested the spark at the coil. When I attempted to start the engine the spark didn't show 'til I stopped, and the spark came after the. I replaced the coil again.

I find the ignition module and had it tested by two different auto parts stores and both stores tested the module 3 to 5 times and the module passed.

This year Ranger doesn't have a crank sensor so I replaced the coil again incase I bought a bad one last time.

I did check the inertia switch and it seems to function fine. I'm getting fuel to the engine, and the pressure is good.

I do have one mistery ground wire that isn't attached to anything on one end, and attached to the fire wall on the other end.

The engine turns over fairly smooth, but just doesn't start.

Where would I locate my computer?
