Changed Timing Set, Have Extra Bolt!!

I am new to posting here, but y'all have been helping me along for years. Thanks! I changed the timing set in 2000 3.0 Vulcan, and when I got the timing cover re-installed I have a bolt left in timing cover bolt box. It looks like a drain plug, 13mm head, 10mm diameter and 13.5mm long. Hasn't been in oil or water, driving me crazy! Anybody know of a bolt matching that description going in that area? Any help greatly appreciated.

I might have an idea where it goes if you post a pic. Is it one of the bolts that hold the altenator or ps/ac mounts...3 on each side. The one is kinda hidden behind the tensioner.

I'm thinking it goes in the back of the head to hold a bracket, there is one still in the old head that looks just like it. How it was mixed in with the timing cover bolts still baffles me. It runs great, and no leaks so far! Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

On the back of the head there is a bracket for the plug that goes to the 02 sensor and also the ground strap that hangs down from the wiper motor.

Thanks! I forgot the ground strap, transferred the bracket. It was driving me crazy that it was left over from the cover bolts. It's a perfect match to the bolt in the back of the heads. I had to replace the heads and decided to replace timing set while I was in there. Thanks again!
