Default Transmition experts I need help.

I stopped at a gas station tonight and when I left out of their I tried to accelerate and my truck would only do 30 and would throttle up and back down real fast. I shut it off and back on and it didn't do it again. What could this be? I need a new PCV valve kit and it's going on the truck tommorow. Could that be the cause of it?

I don't think that is a transmission problem. It sounds like something is choking the engine but I don't think I've ever heard of a PCV doing that.

Just to be sure, when was the last transmission fluid and filter change done?

As of updates I have been busy and had no time. I haven't been able to trace the problem and it hasn't come back up again.

Well if it comes back up again, try to see if you can catch the symptoms it has beforehand.

Could be a sensor gone bad feeding wrong data to the engine management.
