Honestly, I'm really not sure at the moment. I've been ignoring the misfire and hesitation for awhile now but for the past 2 weeks I started to notice when I start my truck up in the mornings and when the engine is cold, I can feel it missing. I've never had that before. I want to determine if its related to the Camshaft Synchronizer in anyway.

Well I changed my cam shaft sync and sensor, got them for 80 bucks I know a guy at maslack, but due to there being ice all the time I have to wait till spring to see if that resolved my issue or not. I suggest doing it you self. If it is your issue. YouTube ford ranger camshaft synchro replacement and watch Bob Planks videos on it. Honestly the best I found. If you have troubles lining the "tooth" up with the old one he has an additional video on it just have to look thru his videos. But when you try to line it up and it fits into place but is like an sixteenth of an inch off that's okay so longs as it's dam near close. Also It's in the way back of engine block so sitting on the front don't damage anything

Ok, sorry for the late update. My Camshaft Synchronizer(Motorcraft) was replaced and now the bucking effect or loss of power at high speed and rpm went away. Although I still have random misfires only upon starting the engine and taking off. It goes away very quick though. This occurs when the engine is cold or warm. I was advised by a mechanic that it could be my ignition coil. I plan on replacing it very soon.
