Default Emissions, possible electrical problem

Recently "fixed" timing via the camshaft synchronizer and changed out the oil pressure switch. New battery. Went for Emissions test and two different places told me their machine would not acknowledge my truck. I've checked electrical connections and all fuses, etc, can't fInd a prOblem. I did notice that there are some fuses in where there should be no fuses, any suggestions????

Go to an autoparts store like autozone and ask them to hookup a code scanner. Not to read codes, but to see if your PCM will communicate through the OBD2 port. If not, a wire at or leading to your OBD2 connector may be disconnected or damaged.

everything seems to be working, i did have to add a fuse today and i did hook up a code reader yesterday, only code was a fuel level sensor, same thing today after i checked over everything. will try the inspection/emissions thing tomorrow if i can, see if it magically fixed itself. thanks for replies.
