Default 1999 3.0 lifted 4 inch.

I just picked up a 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 4-door automatic. 125k. Very clean. No rust. It is lifted with 33inch tires. Any problems to look out for? The power steering pump is a little whinney, normal? Runs excellent all fuilds were clean and full. Any thing to look out for or tips would be great! (new to the site)

The noise from the power steering pump is probably nothing to be concerned with, they're just loud. The 3.0 is a very reliable engine. Do you know how many of the 125K miles have been put on with the 33's on it? Depending on gearing, the auto tranny can sometimes have some problems running big tires.

depending on how hard it was ran, just do the usual run down, CVs, balljoints, ujoints etc... the IFS on rangers don't really like larger tires, so just keep an eye on those and you should have a great truck.
