How much would you buy my truck for?

I am not sure if I am posting in the correct area, but I am looking to sell my truck. Its a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge Regular Cab 6 cylinder 3.0

Everything is all basic, no power windows, no keyless entry, no power seats. Truck has new tires has 100,000 miles, it has some body repair that needs to be done (rear right fender is messed up as well as front bumper) and transmission needs to be replaced. New headlights as well. Other than that it has been kept up with! It was my first truck and I am ready for another ford ranger...maybe extended cab or 4x4.

I know I know pictures!!! I will take some tomorrow.

I really don't think that there is much to be put into this truck, but I am curious as to what would you buy my truck for? KBB says it is worth $4,700 in Fair Condition. This is my first truck, so will be my first time trying to sell a vehicle

id say more like 5000 lowest!!! its got low miles, 04!, new tires. its hard to know thebody damage wihout pics but i would say 6000 would be good starting price! different places sell different. here in FL trucks sell for pretty high and i see people with newer trucks for sale in different states for lease. check out what everyone else is selling them for on craigslist. 6000 should be good

The bad transmission is gonna hurt you alot. I'd need pictures to really judge the truck, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for more than 3K. People don't really wanna spend money these days, especially on something they can't just get in and drive. Prepare to have alot of people try and talk you down to quarters and dimes.

3-4k is more reasonable to hope for. no power, reg cab etc...
but you know you can always come down it's hard to jack up the price once you list it.

seen a truck in similar condition but newer n less miles sell for $2300 last month.. we'll see once you get pics up...

Well the truck still runs pretty good, but the transmission just slips really bad..mainly in the winter.. I really hope to get no less than 3k for it

As for putting it up for sale, I have not done it yet. I'm just trying to get familiar with what to expect when I do put it up for sale.

I would say $3000 bucks would be about right but i would list it for $4500 or so
