Default Re: Burning too much gas and no check engine light. HELP!!

I'm just dividing miles driven by number of gallons at fuel up. I'm resetting the odometer each time.
there does not seem to be anything wrong with the speedo or odometer, as I have checked it against mile markers on the highway.

I'm still baffled...haven't had time to have a pro look into it, but the truck is running just fine..(well, as far as making power and such)

It's a cheap and easy enough job to change plugs and wires, at 50k I say why not. You won't have to worry about it for a while after you do.

You aren't going to gain anything noticeable with just a pulley.

You also need to make sure you gap the plugs properly.
They do not come pre-gapped in the box, and the wrong gap will have a significant impact on mileage and performance.
