Normally, I do too. However, they have a 2 year warranty on it, so let it fail.
The reason I bought the AZ one was because after my original IAC failed, I called the dealer because it was only a few days after I bought the truck. He sent me to his mechanic, who happened to be doing an oil change on a 2002 Ranger, that also belonged to the dealer. We swapped the IAC's for the hell of it, and it fixed my problem. However a month later the other IAC failed. So, I got suspicious that maybe my truck had something going on elsewhere that kept frying the IAC's. Instead of spending $80+ on a new Motorcraft IAC only for it to fry, I bought the cheaper IAC just in case. So far this one has held up.
