This is getting stupid, I replace my cam sync and sensor last month, only for this month for it to start chirping again. It wasnt the motorcraft crap either, it was whatever brand ford's is. Has anyone ever had their's chirp after they replaced it? I mean its something every month these days, I feel like buying a new truck.

would that be more likely do be on a brand new belt? my belt is brand new. I have checked to see if its front or back of the engine. I just heard to chrip and was took pissed to look and see.

yeah, mine did it (new belt) so I scuffed it off with red scotch brite n it stopped... scuff off any shiny, printed markings

Update.
Chirp seems to be coming from the cam sync area. It chirps constantly when on the gas but has a silent idle, the cam sync and sensor are under warranty. Should I replace?

yes. cam sync is common.

Are you sure you installed it correctly? Did you bang it against anything before you put it in? Did you oil the new cam sync up before you installed it?

To be absolutely sure it's the cam sync, take the belt off and start the truck up. Rev it a bit, see if the squeak is gone.

Idler pulley and the whole Tension unit did it for me

I've had the belt system chirp before and this is a different kind of chirp. Besides I had my buddy rev the engine while i looked at it and it is def coming from the back. I did oil it and i don't remember anything hitting it. I did a lot of research before i installed it.

FYI - Motorcraft is Ford's brand.

If you bought the Dorman one, you better replace it soon.
