2001 check engine light trouble
I just bought a 2000 ford ranger 3.0 The check engine light comes on periodically stays on for 2 days and goes out. I had a tune up done plugs and wires didnt help. Does not set codes.just before the the light comes on engine runs a little rough.

if the CEL comes on there will be codes to read. next time it comes on have the codes read.

Ya not much we can do if we don't know the codes.
Autozone can read them.
