Yeah thats the one man. I usually stock up on them. When I go to Walmart I buy one every other trip so I'll always have one. I get my synthetic oil there too

same here lol I usually buy motorcraft oil. synthetic blend 5w-20. But the last two oil changes i've been using valvoline max 5w-20. Synthetic blend also. I really like this oil. Engine noise seems to be less the the motorcraft oil. But thats after i replaced the cam synchronizer so that might of had something to do with it lol But i'm returning the fram oil filter i got for my brother tomorrow and getting the motorcraft one for him. I want to change mine out now too but i just did the oil yesterday lol can't really do it now

You could, just replace the oil lost from the filter

I Google'd around looking for specs of your 3.0L V-6. Came across this. Am not advising/pushing you to consider any of this stuff...some interesting possibilities though.

JBA s.s. headers&exhaust, K&N cold air intake, Bosch Iridium Plus 4 plugs, Royal Purple in motor, 5spd & diff.,Superchips programmer, axle girdle. Also have but yet to install KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and Belltech sway bars.

For sure but everybody dreams. Keep that baby in good shape...motor getting tired years from now..at least you know you don't have to settle with a re-manufactured stock motor...you can order an assembled stroker!!!!

I've also noticed over the years I've used this filter it has gotten shorter.

Alot of different brands of filters have gotten smaller. I think maybe just like everything else, its to save on cost
