Default Engine Mods

Hey guys. I was wondering what some cheap/good engine mods are. like how can I add more horsepower and torque without spending an arm and a leg. I was just wondering. I have a 3.0 V6 in a 2002 Ranger Edge. Thanks for the help guys.

For the ford ranger best option is a tuner to really open the engine up and get all it has

If you have money to spends new cam new rockers would open up some HP for ya

I think u can get a few HP from it along with the screaming demon coil pack

Your not gonna get results of 30+ hp gain though

You would see real results buying those and then getting a tuner to be tuned along with those items u add for good results

Ya you can get a retune but it will be another 150-200 dollars to have it redone

If you buy a tuner for say like 400 dollars they come with the tune you want.

Do you know of a shop in your area that does tuning? You can go to Bamachips or some of the other popular tuners and find local shops

You can then buy it there and have your truck dyno tuned which will result in a better tuned truck

It would cost more to dyno tune but your gonna get your moneys worth out of it

Dyno tuning allow them to give your vehicle a tune-up of unparalleled quality, providing you with the smoothest, most economical performance possible from your vehicle.

Here for a 3 pull dyno u pay $75.00 $100 for a dyno tune on top of buying the tuner for 400 dollars or what ever

If I were you id get

Intake
Exhaust dual exhaust
Pulleys
Coil Pack

Then get the tuner. It doesnt matter if you have it dyno tuned. But the person setting up your program on the tuner will be able to key in on the mods u have

That's why if you go online and buy one it ask for some mods u currently have so they can get a good program for u

Did u look up a dealer in your area?
