Default water pump change

I have discoved a anti freeze leak on my 2000 ranger,3.0l. I noticed it leaking from around the bottom of the water pump, how hard is it to change? Do I need any special tools? Or how much would a garage charge to change it, it is winter here and it would be a cold job in my unheated garage.ouch

Default Re: water pump change

just changed mine out. kinda sucked, took about 6 hours total. included taking off the fan, air intake hose, belt, the mounting bracket for the power steering, all just to get to the bolts of the water pump and then back together again.
