Default Oiled Filter or no oil filter for air intake??

I would like to know what the difference is between an oiled and non oiled filter for air intake? is one better than the other: performance wise? hp? durability? longevity? cost??

an oiled filter will trap more particles

Normally the oiled filters flow more air, are reusable, last the life of the vehicle.

Paper filters normally trap more dirt, flow less air, are a 1 time use.

IMO, a "best of both worlds" compromise is the AEM Dryflow Filter. Higher flow rate than the paper stocker but no oil to contaminate the MAF or IAC.
