Default 1999 ranger 3.0 timing

hi, new here! my ranger had a code p0133 and p1309, changed both front 02 sensors and check engine light went off and so far has stayed off and runs great. bought the cam synchronizer tool to check the timing, and it appears close, but wondered, does the dealer or maybe a tune up place have a more accurate,[sophisticated way of making sure the timing is right? I also bought a new shaft and sensor , but cant get the old shaft out. [I did remove the hold down]. also hard to tell by feel when on tdc, no marks on pulley. thanks!
