get ready to be flamed... CAI's are looked down upon around here, i personally have no problem with them... spectre make a DIY line (available at many O'Reilly's stores) so you could piece one together. i have done this; be sure to measure everything so you know how much you need, and make sure to grab plenty of 45 degree turns, if you dont need them you can return them. have fun and good luck

So pointing out proven fact vs fiction in an effort to prevent him from wasting his hard earned money is flaming and talking shit?? It only becomes that when certain people insist on blindly defending such foolishness in total defiance of fact and logic.

Rob, please read this thread before you waste your money on a product that does nothing. On our trucks, a CAI is just as useless as a tornado.

CAI is a pure ricer mod, since all vehicles have them from the factory, except some really old cars...

do what you wanna do with your money man, dont let jokers like this ^^^ stop you from doing what you wanna do, i have k&n on my ranger and f150, mainly because i basically got them both for free but i still would rather look at that under my hood then a big piece of plastic shit that for some reason has to be 4 times the size of a cai, on an f150 at least
