I have a '01 ranger with the 3.0 V6. The hoses or lines going to the EGR valve keep blowing off. We replace one with new tubing. Went less than 10 miles it actually melted from the heat, I found out the parts house sold my Daughter water hose. Is it the converter or converters stopped up? Someone said to take it off and try it. Did they mean the converter or the line? We live in rural Oklahoma and I dont thinke there are any Emission Testing anywhere arround. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
