Default Underdrive Pulleys

So I've got some cash to burn and would love to gain some horses on my 2003 3.0 with 109k miles on it. I'd like to keep this truck for as long as possible, do you guys think putting underdrive pulleys on a truck this old with this many miles will decrease it's life expectancy?

I doubt it though you might have some charging issues at night since it will turn the alternator at a slower speed.

I run just the crankshaft underdrive pulley and have no problems with charging. I've run 2 Hella driving lights/fog lights and a/c with an electric fan.

no you will not have any chanrging problems at all you might only gain a lil hp like maybe 5 the most like 10 if that. to get some more easy power well less drag on the engine you could install a electric fan and go easy on the loud pedal and see what happens

Are you looking to get the whole kit or just the crankshaft pulley?

I highly recommend the whole kit

If I were to do it, I'd get the whole kit. No need to deal with possible electrical problems. Do it once, do it right.
