Default throttle body spacers?

are throttle body spacers worth the money or a complete waste?

They only do some thing for you if you have done a lot of build up on the engine itself first.

The same goes with a cold air intake and headers. The engine has to be able to precess a lot more fuel and air before the stock system won't keep up.

All the spacer does is insulate the throttle body from the intake manifold to reduce intake temperatures and cause a swirl (if so designed) in theory. Only race cars would benefit from a spacer.

like he said you have to have things done to the motor to make it noticeable and even then its not going to be like you truck just gained 50 hp it will help the motor run smoother little more power but by no means a WOW factor i have one on my ranger and like it but my motor is not stock. it has more than a few things done to it
