But even if a CAI does add any power at ALL, is it worth 300-400 bucks? Really? You can get a nice 50 HP dry shot of spray cheaper that WILL add power. ALOT more than ANY CAI.

Any short ram intake or CAI that draws air from inside the engine bay is not a "cold air" intake at all. These have been proven to provide negligible gains if any, and in some cases, some vehicles lost hp.

looking at that graph, i dont see any problems with it, they are being completely honest and not trying to mislead anyone, its the interpretation that gets boned, the peak horsepower and torque was at 4921 rpm IN SECOND GEAR if people fail to read that, think that this is a godsend bolt-on booster, and spend the money, without realizing when the benifits kick in, its because they are graphically illiterate, not because they are generally stupid

If the intake was a restriction then you would gain power, but your heads are. They are rough and cast with little or no machining. The ports are small.
