Ok not literally but close. Bought it from a guy who said it had a water leak. Well I made it about 5 miles down the road and it started losing power and then as I was pulling over it started steaming. Temp gauge never got hot until right as I stopped. I tried putting water in it and it was coming out almost as fast as I was putting it ion so I just towed it home rather than work on it on the side of the road. Anyway I fill it best as I can at home and try to start it and it won't start. Tried to fire once but acts like it has no or little compression. It built up so much pressure when I was driving it home it blew the coolant take hose off the nipple at the radiator cap. There is no evidence of water in the oil but obviously it is leaking into the coolant system. Just pulled off the upper intake and the middle two ports are soaking wet with coolant so cylinders 2 and 5 are the problem. My question is anyone have this happen before and what are the chances that one or both heads are warped? If it would start I would think that it could possible just be head gaskets but since it won't build enough pressure to start are the badly warped/head cracked or piston cracked from the over heat? Side note I looked thru a bunch of receipts the guy had in glove box and the motor had been filled with sludge in the coolant and heater core so it was a very gunked up motor. Should I just pull it and get a junk yard motor?
Most likley getting it that hot the heads are cracked, but you gotta pull them to check the gaskets, so you can have them checked for cracks and warped, and have a look at the cylinder condition.
