Default Air intake question

I know the benefits of a CAI, or lets just say aftermarket intake are slim to none, but i absolutely love the sound of an aftermarket intake sucking in air. SO, opinions aside, how can i run my intake? i have the MAF and another round plug running into my stock air intake, how can i incorporate those two in my aftermarket intake? I'm sure people have CAI'd the 3.0l, anyone wanna tell me how its done? pics? And jp7ftw i dont wanna see that cold air intake picture again, ive seen it too many times haha
Thanks

Gotta get a adapter like this http://www.ifab.net/products/mafadapter/30fk.html

I am guessing you dont wanna buy a K&N intake or one of the other brands? You just wanna make your own.

What other connection? Is it a tube coming off the intake tube?

If so it is a crankcase vent tube. You can replace it with a rubber hose. Just like the K&N kits come with

If you could get a pic that would help.

Your truck is a 04 or 05?
