3.0 motor swap interchange
I have a 96 ford ranger 3.0 automatic 4x4 with a bad motor will a 3.0 out of a 06 ford taurus fit in the ranger with out a lot of major changing?

yes, but only the bottom part, you need the heads, headers, intake and engine mounts from the ranger
