Hello I am a new Ranger owner and have discovered a transmission fluid leak coming from one of the fitting connecting the line to the fluid pan as seen in the picture below. What would you guys recommend I do to fix it, has anyone else had this problem?

Also a side note
The transmission fluid level seems to be about 1/2-3/4” above the max limit, I need to drain it soon, could the high fluid level be causing the leak?

The fitting might be loose, have you tried tightening it? the line could also be cracked.

Yes I tried tightening but didn’t help the leak, I am picking up a new line today and will install and hopefully it will solve the leak.
