3.0L V6 Year to Year compatibility
I have a 2001 XLT 2WD Exended cab with the 3.0 V6, and I am looking to replace the current engine with either a used engine or a re-manufactured long block. Will a 3.0 V6 from a 2002 or 2003 fit and if so, are there any significant problems to using an engine from a different year?
