Camshaft Synchronizer
my 2001 3.0 has 90,000 miles on it. I saw a video of lubricating the Camshaft Synchronizer without removing it. I have no squeeking going on, just wanting to do preventive maintenance. What's the thoughts on this?

If it needs lubing the bushings are going and it can wipe out your engine just replace it. It doesn’t need lubing normally.
With my 3.0l I changed it every 100k to be on the safe side. I sold the truck with 310k on it still humming along.
