Heater Hose T Connection
Hey everyone,
I did a search but really didn't find anything helpful.
2001 3.0 XLT.
Recently replaced radiator and thermostat due to tranny fluid leaking into a broken radiator (not before I replaced the tranny, thinking that was the problem, unfortunately).
Afterward, had the system flushed and filled by a trusted mechanic. It was running fine again.
But last night one of the heater hoses disconnected from the T connection. I put it back on and it popped out again.
I know the hoses come as one unit but I can find a workaround for that if necessary.
Really my question is, why would it pop out in the first place?
It's not a pressure point, right? I mean, if it was, there would be a clamp.
So what would cause it? Any ideas?
Oh and it's the hose that goes from the heater into a spot near the thermostat, not the one from the intake manifold.
