Default air pockets

how do you bleed the cooling system on a ford ranger 1997 2wd 3.0 v6?

could someone post some pics please....

Did you find out how to bleed the cooling system? I suspect a bubble is trapped in this '08 4 cyl. Ranger, and the method is probably not too different than on yours. I have heard that it would cause the engine to idle high and reduce MPG.

take the rad cap off and let the engine idle like that for about 10 mins or so with the heat on full blast....and rev the engine occasionally

i always squeeze the upper rad hose while filling and after its warmed up with the cap off when i top it off to purge the air out.And i have never had one get an air bubble yet
