I have a 04 Ranger Edge with AC and a little while after I got my truck there was a small squeal, which is now pretty loud. The owner beforehand mentioned the AC clutch has been changed within the past 3 years.

At first, I tried an idler pulley and tensioner pulley, realizing the belt was also had bald marks on it so I changed the belt as well, no difference. I undid the belt after hearing about the Cam sensor and the was a squeal there, so I replaced that and the gear, also the alternator. Nothing changed. I noticed the belt was wiggling at the tensioner and spraying the belt removes the squeal, so I replaced the tensioner today and nothing changed. The belt fix was about 6 months ago.
Steering feels okay and I'm getting good heat from the Thermostat, so I'm out of options now that I can think of.

Any other tests I could run to figure this out? Or any suggestions? I'd appreciate it

First... With the engine cold, remove the belt and start the truck for a moment and verify the squeal is gone and it is actually a belt/pulley issue.

Next with no belt, spin and wiggle each pulley. Feel for any roughness or resistance.

Next check alignment. Each pulley needs to be perfectly aligned to the next. A bent bracket, loose bolt, or flat out worn accessory will cause misalignment and noise.

Third, verify the quality of the parts. It's perfectly normal to get garbage parts at chain parts stores. The AC clutch or the tensioner you bought could be complete junk.

These trucks are known to have belt squeal with brand new or used components. Many people claimed that the only brand of belt that didn't squeal was the Gatorback brand.

Had the same issue, i replaced the accessory drive system, and it came back within a month. Get a gatorback belt and your problem will be gone.
