Is it supposed to be a flexfuel engine? Mine has the flexfuel emblem on it. If so, you technically could. It's not a new truck, has it been run regularly on E85? If not, I would be concerned that it might disolve some crud somewhere that normal gasoline (E10) didn't dlsolve, and the now loose crud could get in trouble. I think E85 doesn't get as good gas mileage either, but not sure. I can't get E85 in my area anyway, but I think I would stick with the normal E10 gasoline.

that depends on your penchant for taking care of your vehicle. My trucks 25 yrs old now and I still run premium fuel in it. I get an extra 12-17 miles out of a tank, it runs better on it, and the savings of $4.50 from the cheap shit to the expensive stuff just isnt financially inspiring enough to run the cheap shit.

But I know there are those guys who need their Starbucks, or a pack of cigarettes to get their days started or keep going so saving somewhere to help other places I guess for more important things. lol

E85 will eat rubber lines. Thats why E85 vehicles run SS or all metal fuel lines. And yes, the mileages is about 2/3 of gasoline +/-
