Default Vacuum line?

Been working on a 1997 ford ranger 3.0 and found this what i think is a vacuum line coming from this box but no clue where it is supposed to go i was going to replace anything nessasary but dont know where it is supposed to lead. Any help would be appreciated

How about right next to the other one on the Purge canister....

I know about that one the line just needs replaced its rotted off the purge canister i was talking about the other end with the rusted metal pipe inside of it looks like it snapped off something just dont know what. lol

Well, since that is the purge canister, the other end goes technically to the gas tank on the other side of that solenoid there. So near the master off the frame rail should be two lines away from the brake lines that follow the frame downward towards the tank along the frame rail itself. I bet if you look just below the fender skirt there you should.. SHOULD find the missing and looks to be.., broken end of that line.

My suggestion would be to buy a length of hose that reaches an inch or so past clean metal and re attach it after cutting it back beyond that metal cancer.
