Default Air idle control valve problems

My air idle control valve is making my 3.0 ranger have high revs. When I shift it revs up and when I'm stop it revs up, sometimes to 3000 rpm. When I clean it or replace it work for like a month and then revs up again. As of now I have been driving without it plugged in. And that throws codes and makes the truck idle rough....
Please give me answers

Dj is right, If you're gonna be looking at $100 parts cost for that it should be Original parts.

There is a reason why Autism Zone, O'Really's, And the 3 Stooges rip-offs offer their weenie lifetime warranties. Because generally its cheap Chinese shit and the stores are geared up to bring you back, and back, and back because the chances of you buying even more bullshit is extremely high along with their built in maintenance based products.

They make money off of the warranties, not the quality of products. Its like Doctors.. If I cure what ails you, you might not be back for awhile and depending on how many patients rotate through my office that might not be a great example of a "Doctor lifestyle" of the Rich & Famous. But If I keep half ass'ing your meds, treatments, spread things out over ridiculous lengths of time. I can dent your wallet and milk your insurance endlessly with no effort at all...

Marinate those thoughts

If you have access to a scope it's pretty easy to diag. My guess is that its bad as well but there is a slim chance it could be a wiring issue. I think you should get about 10K ohms across the pins if you have a meter and there may be a diode inside so the +- sides should be considered...
