I have a 2001 Ranger with a 3.0. I bought it with a terrible shudder when it was accelerated and when I rev it off idle. I replaced the torque converter and rebuilt the trans cause the fluid was dirty and burned so I know that's not the problem. From what I see online it's a engine misfire. What sorts of things could cause this besides plugs/ wires?
