Hi I have a 2007 3.0 engine with about 105000 miles. I don't have much previous information on the first owner, but I have had the truck since August. No issues at all except I had to change the coil and battery. These codes have been on my code reader consistently since I bought the truck. It does have a K&N cold air intake air filter on it, but otherwise seems pretty stock. No check engine light is on, but again, these codes are consistently being thrown and I'm not sure if there is something I should be worried about or if there are maintenance items I should be performing. I suspect the first owner did much of any work done over the years himself, as the Carfax shows no work at all EXCEPT an oil change religiously every 3000-4000 miles. The engine bay was very clean and seems well maintained. thanks

Now, some codes may go away once another is solved so it may only be one issue not 3... but since you have the codes, clear them and retest by driving it a day or two. if they come back id look at the TPS sensor first. if thats inaccurate or failing its going to cause A/F issues which the other sensors behind it in the exhaust will show and indicate.

the fact theres no CEL, means they are soft codes which could be intermittent vs a hard code where the CEL is triggered

Thank you so much! I have a code reader (kind of a cheap one) but it won't erase those codes. They are like stuck. My battery died a month or so ago and it wasn't that old, but when the battery was changed out I was hoping it would clear them... I had read that information you sent but it didn't make sense to me. For example, the P1107 mentions brake booster, Map sensor, and the ELD. I am so confused! The only symptom I've had is a smidge of a rough idle occasionally.

The P1107 and the P3800 have been with me since the beginning; the P0007 is relatively new. The other one that has hung on as well is P25E3, which apparently also related to the brake booster voltage. What does it mean when you say it's a "soft" code?

Unfortunately with OBD II B, you have an EEPROM, the disconnection of a battery for a min or even 10 doesnt work anymore. You're going to have to maybe go to an O'really's/Autistic zone and see if you cant sweet talk the young man into bumping that button to erase the codes for you so you can then drive it for a day or two and see if you really have a problem. That would be step 1

A soft code is a intermittent code that does not cause the CEL to come on rather than a hard code which ignites the CEL
