So you've either got a bad cam position sensor or a bad installation. Check it again, and get the plastic guide tool to simplify confirming the spot you installed it.

Did you put a Motorcraft back in it from Rockauto for a 100.00 bucks or a cheep after market? I found that the after market ones dont line up correctly. I did get a dorman that I use in my daughters Tauras 3.0 that I got to work but I found that it lined up diffrent.
