Ive got a Flip out Alpine Head unit in it, also ive put in a C.B. radio. Its got as of rite now 123,000 miles on it.

you can put a turbo on anything if you have enough time and money mostly money haha um you could try and find a turbo off of a grand national mabye its a 3.8l so its close to the same size as you can get, but i dont know much about turbos other then i cant afford them and you need good cylinder head bolts

Wouldnt be worth the money honestly.

If you wanted to run more then 5lbs of boost you would need

Forged rods
Forged crankshaft

The stock 3.0 wouldn't be able to handle the turbo very long over 5lbs

You could always get a 80's thunderbird 2.3T engine and put it in. Has been done before. Even the Older Mustang that had the 2.3T

With them you can run a higher boost and they will scream. Your truck would be a super sleeper.

I have rode in a 94 single cab with a 2.3T and it was crazy

I def wouldnt recommend a turbo on anything NA, without beefing up the internals, but these engines have kind of a lag NA, why a turbo? you'd get even more lag, Id bolt on a blower if I was going that route. Youd def lose more MPG with a blower, but full online power from the get go.

A 3.8 from a T-bird S/C is another way to go too.

tom morana does have a 3.3 stroker kit that he says can handle 20 psi of boost, but its pretty pricey, plus you'll need to fabricate your own turbo system which would be a big hassle and cost even more, in the end its not worth it. The most im planning on doing on my 3.0 is 1:7 roller rockers, maybe ported upper and lower intake, exhaust, tune and k&n drop in filter.
