There must be more to this story than you are telling us. If you want help I suggest starting at the point before the Pats system was replaced.
Do or did you have a check engine light on? if so what are the codes stored in the computer?
Second why was the Pats System replaced? what parts exactly were replaced in the pats system?
Was the vehicle running correctly before the work was performed?
Have you checked the battery and charging system?
What is the mileage and overall condition of your truck?
What about the basics? You say you checked fuel pressure, what was the PSI at Idle and when you attempt to drive ?
Does the truck start easily or does it take a lot of engine cranking with the starter to get it to fire up?
Have you pulled a compression test on the engine?
Are all the fluids topped off?
Have you attached a vacuum gauge to the engine to check for a clogged exhaust system?
How old is the fuel in the tank? does it smell like varnish?
BTW I noticed that you state the truck is stock except for the radio. did you do the install or was it done before you purchased it?
How was the new radio installed or connected to the OEM harness? was it cut or is there a harness adapter installed.
I am not sure about your Ranger but some vehicles have speed controlled radio volume. I have seen in the past with a Mitsubishi I was working on
That would do the same thing yet had a code for a vehicle speed sensor. the sensor worked fine however the owners child was feeding the cd player pennies which caused
a short to the Vehicle speed sensor circuit.
I have my doubts that you have a radio install problem but I thought it was worth mentioning.
the more detailed information you provide the more likely someone here may be able to help.
