Default ??? mafs housing

does anybody know why the mafs housing have brass (or copper) holes for the screws to go into? is it a ground of some kind?

I can't give you a specific answer to your question, but are you having a problem with your MAF?

not all of them have bass holes not there is no ground on a MAS

you lose power at about 5000 the 4.0 has a rev limit at 5200 I bet you are at you rev limit. no need to run past that you lose you power above that point anyway. and the copper/bass tapped hole is a insert into the plastic so the threads are in metal not plastic
