Question alternator upgrade?

I'm planning to add more lighting which will use about an extra 600-700 watts total. So I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my alternator or if this will still be within the 1725W rating.

That's about 50 amps additional current draw. It's a lot, and will probably exceed capacity and start discharging the battery at idle. At other-than-idle, it might keep up if you don't have other stuff on. But remember what happen when in conditions other than daylight in the fall. Heat or AC blower, stereo, windshield wipers, headlights, etc etc. I think you're pushing your luck.
