Default Oil in coolant but no coolant in the oil. help

So I bought this truck a couple months back and have just been taking care of general things that need replacing, Brakes all around, Shocks all around, all the filters, plugs&wires, Fuel Pump, and a lot maintenance stuff. I know that it has a small oil leak because the kid I bought the truck from put a new clutch on it and i think he didn't replace the rear main seal when putting it back together. but thats no big deal because its maybe 1/2 a qt every oil change that it leaks. But the other day i looked at the radiator cap and there is what looks like mud all in there. I don't think it is rust because it is not very orange, it is more brown than anything. I also noticed that there is oil & coolant leaking from the front of the engine. I can't specifically describe where yet though, and I'm not sure what it would be from. Either Head gasket, intake gasket, or a combination of the two. I was told by the kid i got it from that they did the valve cover gasket shortly before i bought it from them (whether or not i believe them that they did it right or at all is another story) But i need some help trying to figure out what it could be or how i should determine what it is.

If it is the front passenger side, its most likely coming from the gasket behind the timing cover. Very common on a 3.0. The antifreeze runs from the block through the timing cover to the water pump.

Yeah it is the passenger side, is it a common problem? Is that a hard fix? and I'll upload pics tomorrow when I get the chance.

Felpro has a gasket kit that comes with front & rear timing cover & water pump gasket, with crank pully seal & sleave to go on pully. It cost under a 100 dollars.

would it be smart just to buy a new water pump, fan clutch, and timing chain and gears for when I've got it all apart or no?

And would this also be a good time for an Underdrive pulley?

Water pump is a must to replace with this. As for fan clutch, timing chain and gears, that is up to you. How many miles are on your truck?
