98 3.0 V6 Lookin for best upgrades for performance
Hey everyone. As of now my ranger is all original. Only Mod I have is a battery. The truck is extremely clean and we'll maintained. I want to put enough in it to increase performance and value but nothing flashy. I'm sticking with the classic look. Anything helps. Thanks.

98 3.0 V6 Lookin for best upgrades for performance
Hey everyone. As of now, my ranger is all original. It is very clean and meticulously maintained. I like the classic look but still want performance. More than a few are recommending a tuning kit to others. Any recommendations for other upgrades? Thanks for your time

Modifications will only reduce value. The more you modify, the less anyone else is willing to spend on it
To increase value, fix anything that's rusty, damaged or worn out - but keep in mind your potential sell price won't increase as much as you spend.

Re: 98 3.0 V6 Lookin for best upgrades for performance
Like I said. Truck is extremely clean. No rust dents or scratches to speak of. So I'm betting I'll just keep it all original. Maybe bigger tires? But then I lose the factory wheels. I'll keep thinking. Thanks for the help

Contact these guys to see if you can get a tuner
http://www.lasotaracing.com/
Otherwise just keep up with the maintenance because there isn't much else that can be done.

You can get bigger tires while using factory rims

Whipple did make a supercharger kit for the 3.0 but those are hard to find since they were discontinued

There's nothing cost-effective to be done. Keep it original and realize it's a slow, workhorse truck.
God these threads just keep coming up like zombies from a graveyard lately.

Nice wheels and tires make any vehicle look better. That's all i would do to it if it's that clean.

You want power and performance? Drop a 5.0 in it. Only way that you will get significant results.
