I have a 2002 2wd 4dr w/auto and it has a skip. Replaced the coil pack, plugs, wires... still skips and no idiot light.

Also, if you floor it, it govens itself at 3500 rpms... is that normal? Drives normal... i think?

The other issue is the oil pressure gage super spazzes out... like out of control back and forth around high, but sometimes swinging back down to medium/low.

That is wierd. Did you make you sure you put connected all the wires to the right plugs?

I would unplug the battery for 20 mins and then reconnect to see if that helps. Sometimes the computer can act wierd.

how many miles is on it? its unlikely, but could be a mechanical miss. also, i'd look into the fuel injectors if if misses under acceleration but not at idle. as for oil pressure, i'd say its probably just the sending unit. generally you either have oil pressure, or you dont. good luck bro

Go to an auto parts store and have a qualified sales associate check for OBD2 codes; you could be throwing PO171, PO174.
