Default 95 3.0 ford ranger #3 miss

This is what I have done. replaced head gasket, replaced o2 sensors, new plugs, swapped spark plug wires, swapped spark plugs, swapped fuel injectors, good compression and checked all vacuum hoses. #3 cylinder has a miss but not all the time. Sometimes it fires and runs great but most of the time has a miss. When it is missing there is still fire off the coil and I have even stuck an old plug on it and all looks well. i have no check engine light coming on and no codes. When I pulled the injector out there appeared to be good fuel pressure in the rail. Fuel sprayed out pretty good. Anybody have any ideas what this could be? i appreciate "all" advice. Thanks.

might be weak spark, "flashing light" spark testers dont show how strong the spark is. try a gapped tester. also on the fuel side you can try switching the fuel injectors. take one out of another cylinger and swap it with the #3 if the cylinder you switch to misfires, then you know its an injector...

jkenenski, thanks for your help. i did swap injectors and the problem stayed. The spark seems strong. When testing with it running on a old plug the spark will jump 3-4 inches with a lot of pop. I have worked on a lot of engines and even did a few rebuilds. But this one has me stumped.
